Choir Policies
COMMITMENT
When students join Wolfgang Children's Choir (WCC), we encourage them to participate long term. Since WCC is an ensemble that continues to grow and develop overtime, it’s ideal to have long term members rather that constant turnover, to maintain a constant standard of excellence and musicality.
However, if you need to exit the program, please provide 30 days notification in writing to the director.
TERMS
There are two terms per year, plus summer camps.
Each term runs for a certain number of weeks, concludes with a concert, and is priced accordingly. After the third week of the term, new students will no longer be accepted and must wait until the following term to enroll.
REHEARSALS
Thursdays, 6:00pm - 6:50pm - Beginning Choir (Grades 1-3)
Thursdays, 7:00pm - 8:00pm - Intermediate Choir (Grades 4-7)
Your child is to bring their own folder, pencil, and water bottle to each rehearsal.
Please note: For this first term, (because of numbers) Beginning and Intermediate Choir will be combined into one group, rehearsing from 6:00 - 6:50pm. Intermediate Choir & soloists may work with Ms. Wolfgang for an extra 20-25 minutes after rehearsal.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE
By participating in WCC rehearsals and concerts, you acknowledge that your child's photo and video clips may be used for promotion and advertising. They may be posted on social media outlets.
MEMBERSHIP
Members pay a semester fee in full or in installments, due monthly. Installments are due on the 15th of each month. A $15 late fee will be charged if payment isn't made by the 20th of the month. In addition to the weekly rehearsals, your semester's tuition also covers the end of term concert. There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee paid once a year at the beginning of Fall/ Winter term. Tuition also includes a choir T-Shirt.
For families with more than one student enrolling per semester, there is a sibling discount available for the 2nd or 3rd sibling enrolled. Please select the sibling discount option for each additional child after the first regularly registered child.
REFUNDS
No refunds will be given for missed rehearsals or no shows. If you miss a rehearsal, please notify the director ahead of time and you may attend another rehearsal as a makeup if space allows. If you desire to exit the program, please provide 30 days notice in writing. For those who paid in full, refunds will be prorated for # of classes remaining 30 days after notice is given.
CANCELLATIONS
If cancellations are needed due to extreme weather, makeups will be scheduled at the discretion of the director, and the concert may be pushed back accordingly.
EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to be able to follow the directions of the Director, respect others and stay on task. If your child has difficulty with any of these, parents may be asked to sit with the child during rehearsals.
PRACTICE
A listening list is provided each term for students to practice at home.
SUMMER CAMP
There are several week-long half-day summer camps open to returning and new members in the summer. In 2023, we will offer camps in June, July and August.
CONCERT DAY
Concert Dress is required for the concert. Dress your best!!
Color: Please choose clothing that is only Black and White.
Girls: Dresses OR blouse and pants.
Boys: Slacks, polo shirt OR button down shirts and tie (optional)
Shoes can be nude, black, brown, dark grey, dark navy, silver or gold.

Please understand that by enrolling and paying tuition for your child in Wolfgang Children's Choir, you certify that you understand and agree to these policies for the 2022-2023 terms.
